The ABRSM Practical exams will be held at Nepal Music Center by Anne Marshall on Thursday 30th November, Friday 1st December and Saturday 2nd December, 2017 as below:

The Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) is an examinations board and based in Londan UK, which provides certified examination in music at centers around the world.
Music examinations are a method of formally assessing the accomplishments of pupils learning musical instruments. These are called grades.Many students who enter these exams have taken a course of music lessions with private tutor.
Nepal Music Center Trust, is the first and only organization in Nepal to offer ABRSM & ROCK School international examinations in music to students.
As of June 11, 2017, Nepal Music Center hosted ABRSM Theory exams for 15 students from different boarding schools of Nepal.
ABRSM Practical exams is to be held in Spetember.
ABRSM music exams are graded from one to eight, with grade one one being the entry level and grade eight being the standard requried for entry to higher study in a music colleges.
ABRSM Theory exams
Music Theory is examined through written papers. Papers last between one and a half and three hours depending on the grade. They are marked out of 100, where 66 is a pass, 80 a merit, and 90 a distinction. Candidates are required to pass Grade 5 Theory, Grade 5 Practical Musicianship or Grade 5 in a solo Jazz subject in order to progress to Practical exams at Grades 6, 7 and 8.
In a Practical Musicianship exam candidates demonstrate their understanding of melody, harmony, rhythm and form by responding to questions about music and by singing or playing an instrument of their choice in a series of tests. This exam is unaccredited and is used as an internal assessment prerequisite.
