Madan Gopal Singh Concert - Feb 24, 2010
Renowned composer, screenwriter, film theorist, and Sufi singer Madan Gopal Singh performed at NMC on February 24th. NSV teachers Shyam Nepali and Nucche Bahadur Dangol were on hand both to play a Nepali set, and to jam with the visiting group. Madan Gopal Singh was accompanied by Deepak Castelino (guitar and banjo), Pritam Ghosal (sarod), and Gurmeet Singh (percussion). Such was the success of the collaboration between Shyam Nepali and the group that he has been invited to perform in India with them!
